In this section of my blog i choose a script and analysed it. A script can be seen as written work that has been made especially for a film or television program.
ROMEO AND JULIET BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
I choose the duologue between Juliet and the nurse after she got word that Romeo had killed her cusin Tybalt.
NurseTybalt is gone, and Romeo banished;
Romeo that kill'd him, he is banished.
JULIETO God! did Romeo's hand shed Tybalt's blood? [the question Juliet asks her self, hoping]
it is not true]
NurseIt did, it did; alas the day, it did!
JULIETO serpent heart, hid with a flowering face!
Did ever dragon keep so fair a cave?
Beautiful tyrant! fiend angelical!
Dove-feather'd raven! wolvish-ravening lamb! [Juliet at this moment has hatred for
Despised substance of divinest show! Romeo, but this hatred does not last
Just opposite to what thou justly seem'st, long.]
A damned saint, an honourable villain!
O nature, what hadst thou to do in hell,
When thou didst bower the spirit of a fiend
In moral paradise of such sweet flesh?
Was ever book containing such vile matter
So fairly bound? O that deceit should dwell
In such a gorgeous palace!
NurseThere's no trust,
No faith, no honesty in men; all perjured, [The nurse, having no positive feelings
All forsworn, all naught, all dissemblers. towards Romeo tries to poison Juliet's
Ah, where's my man? give me some aqua vitae: mind]
These griefs, these woes, these sorrows make me old.
Shame come to Romeo!
JULIETBlister'd be thy tongue [The love and affection Juliet has for Romeo
For such a wish! he was not born to shame: surface again, as she tell the nurse off for
Upon his brow shame is ashamed to sit; insulting Romeo.]
For 'tis a throne where honour may be crown'd
Sole monarch of the universal earth.
O, what a beast was I to chide at him!
NurseWill you speak well of him that kill'd your cousin? [The nurse challenges Juliet love and l loyalty between Romeo and her family
this final question]

OWN RECCE---pratcise makes perfect
A Recce is practice filming or storyboarded or scripted scenes. We do this to
INFATUATION DECLINE (AM BEING FOLLOWED SCENE)
PRACTICE SHOT- order shots
- editorial decisions (sounds,mis-en-scene etc)
- saving cost and time
- location
INFATUATION DECLINE (AM BEING FOLLOWED SCENE)
Camera Shots Analysing The Scene
There is only one camera shot in this scene,(two shot) and this The audience can not see any reactions or
would make it harder for the audience to hear the dialogue face expressions from the characters.
meaning they would be disconnected from the scene this likely to bore the the viewer and because
also the audience are not able to identify the characters. of this it is can take their concentration to an-
subject.
In this recce we was actually practicing our location for that scene, but it did not work because it did not have the atmosphere i wanted,it look deserted and unreal. that is why we moved on to a different location.
REAL SHOT
Camera Shots Analysing The Scene
The real shot had more shots like,a two shot,close-ups so the This shot is more attract given as it is brigh- reaction and expression of the actors can be seen clearly. ter,the dialogue is clear so the audience arelong and mid shots so we are seeing the characters from are more connected and involved in the sce-
head to toe also showing more details drawing the audience in. en.
In this recce we finally found a perfect location, a bathroom, this was more realistic and fitted in the scene as two friends having a chat, it is most likely for girl to have conversation in the bathroom.

ANIMATICS -MY FILM/LORD OF THE RINGS
Animatics is the ideal action in integrated motion control with highly innovative solution. At its simplest, an animatic is a series of still images edited together and displayed in sequence.
This allows the animators and directors to work out any screenplay, camera positioning, shot list and timing issues that may exist within the current storyboard. The storyboard and soundtrack are then corrected if necessary, and a new animatic may be created and reviewed with the director until the storyboard is perfected.Animation is usually an expensive process so, cutting and planing must be done carefully before the actually work, this save time and money.

INTRODUCTION TO EDITING
Because Practice makes perfect, we practiced how to editing with a mini video that we film ourselves, learning how to add audio's,effects and colour before we went onto do our actual filming. The movie is briefly about to characters having an argument which leads to physical fighting. It did not need to be some fancy editing program, we just used what we had and practice cutting footage and piecing stuff together.

EQUIPMENT USED
MISE EN SCENE
Equipment that was used for the actual filming of the scenes was:
A tripod was used to keep the camera still, so there is no shaking or unnecessary movement from the camera.
Mise-en-scène is what we see in a film and referred to the design and direction of the entire production.
In our film the mise-en-scene are:
- Pictures: there pictures used on the wall in the film, was taken by me, i asked a few of my friends to assist me in posing as if they are being stalked.
- Blood: artificial blood was made by using mango yellow and fuchsia pink paint
- Computer: for the searching scene
- Chairs/Table: these was part of the props.
- Napkin: to stain the blood on
- Paper: to put drops of the blood onto

PRELIMINARY TASK
We produce a Preliminary Task, and I believe that it was a positive thing because it helped me to develop a complete knowledge of shooting, editing and generally filming and how it is conducted. However i felt that my finale piece of my film was much better compare to my preliminary task and this is due to my development of filming skills.
In our Preliminary Task the storyline is a young boy who gets involved in dangerous work. He owes his boss some money and is unable to pay this amount in time given to him and ends up being killed;shot in his boss office.

Ahmed Said as Stanley
Carlton Heron as Don Dezel
